Home Evangelism

Our members are encouraged to use their home as a tool to reach the lost in our community.  Hospitality allows others to see who we really are as Christians and opens the door for meaningful relationships.  Our goal is to share the Gospel both in our conversations and in our actions with the people the Lord has placed in our lives.  We want people in our community to know that God loves them and that we do too.

Gospel Projects

Our church family strives to bless our community with free service projects; absolutely no donations accepted!  Car washes, weeding gardens, giving out free water bottles, etc. provide all of our members, from the little ones to the seniors, an opportunity to work together to share the gospel of Jesus in a practical way. During each of these projects, we seek to have conversations with the people we serve and put the gospel in their hands with solid gospel tracts.

Mission Trips
Mission Trips

We believe an effective way to impact the world is by finding mission trip to participate in both local and cross-cultural.  God is at work in the Bay City area as well as other countries. Both missional opportunties allow us to serve people in the way Jesus served people. The goal of CFBC when it comes to missions is to do all we can to get the Gospel into the hands, hearts, and minds of as many people as possible. This is usually paired with a service project of some kind. This year we have worked with reputable organizations such as Samaritan's Purse and South Texas Children's Home Ministry.  Please contact one of our elders for more information about who we have adopted and other mission organizations we support.

Families

God designed the perfect context for sharing the Good News...families!  Everyone is part of a family, and everyone in your family needs Jesus.  Parents are equipped and exhorted to pass their faith to their children. Grandparents and singles also have the responsibly to reach the next generation.  Prayer, mentoring, foster care, and adoption are just a few of the ways that those who don't have children in the home can significantly impact the next generation (and the older generations!) for Christ.
